چکیده

Natural minerals are a powerful tool in politics when some have major role production. Its depletion is now hot topic worldwide. Thus, the safety of environment, natural surface water, groundwater and protection soils from chronic contamination by metallic inorganic elements global concern. Indeed, industrialization development led to generation huge varied amounts waste, including electronic waste (e-waste), which released into environment. Although e-waste classified as hazardous, most it not recycled developed countries with strict environmental legislation send their developing where regulations lax. These devices components after being used simply dumped environment due lack treatment recycling strategy. As result, they become threat ecosystems humans. African among vulnerable nations. But unfortunately ignored underestimated. To date, there no unit (factory) mainly Republic Benin. In response this challenge, study explored different techniques for electrical/electronic equipment order develop new environmentally friendly approach future work, extraction usual valuable contained (printed circuit boards) For purpose, bibliographic research was carried out 20 April 16 October 2021. The results obtained allowed us identify advantages disadvantages existing methods.

Recovery of high purity precious metals from printed circuit boards.

Waste printed circuit boards (WPCB) have an inherent value because of the precious metal content. For an effective recycling of WPCB, it is essential to recover the precious metals. This paper reports a promising method to recover the precious metals. Aqua regia was used as a leachant and the ratio between metals and leachant was fixed at 1/20 (g/ml). Silver is relatively stable so the amount o...

A Novel Designed Bioreactor for Recovering Precious Metals from Waste Printed Circuit Boards

For recovering precious metals from waste printed circuit boards (PCBs), a novel hybrid technology including physical and biological methods was developed. It consisted of crushing, corona-electrostatic separation, and bioleaching. Bioleaching process is the focus of this paper. A novel bioreactor for bioleaching was designed. Bioleaching was carried out using Pseudomonas chlororaphis. Bioleach...

Leaching studies for metals recovery from printed circuit boards scrap

In this paper, the leaching behavior of the major metals present in printed circuit boards waste is evaluated, aiming at its recycling by hydrometallurgy. Several leachants were compared (sulfuric, hydrochloric and nitric acids, at 2 M H concentration), at temperatures of 25oC and 90oC and 4 hours of reaction time. Sulfuric acid leaching was not very promising concerning metals dissolution bein...

Metals Content in Printed Circuit Board Waste

This paper an presents analysis of metals in waste of printed circuit boards (PCB) covering types of PCB, segregated from PC computers, mobile phones, and mixed. The presented data identifies metals and other substances found in PCB waste based on elemental and technical analysis of PCBs. PCB categorization based on gold concentration is presented, resulting in two groups: electric and electron...
